Description:
Reporting to the Operations Lead, the Operations Coordinator (OC) plays a critical role in supporting participants in achieving their goals. The OC coordinates with participants, support workers, and stakeholders to deliver person-centered, culturally competent, and recovery-focused services. This role acts as the primary link between the service delivery team and the Operations Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Develop NDIS service agreements and schedule supports in line with participants’ funding and needs.
- Communicate effectively with participants and stakeholders to identify goals and support needs.
- Provide relevant information to promote participant choice and control.
- Coach and guide teams to ensure dignified, community-based support.
- Adhere to privacy and data recording requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and client information.
- Stay informed on sector developments and internal service pathways.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and address service barriers.
- Produce performance reports to monitor progress and identify challenges.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Liaise with Support Coordinators to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Attend industry events to stay updated and build relationships.
- Draft service plans and monitor client progress.
Pre-Requisites:
- Diploma in Community Services or a related field or equivalent.
- NDIS worker screening check or willingness to apply.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
- Smartphone for app use.
- Current first aid/CPR certificate or willingness to attain.
- WA Class C Driver’s License and fully insured vehicle.
- Experience in individualised assessments and procedural change.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in coordinating services within NDIS plans or similar.
- Excellent critical thinking, time management, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer programs.
- Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and work collaboratively.
- Problem-solving and project management capabilities.
